Details for Upcoming Gigs for August 2025
Unless otherwise note this information applies to each of the upcoming gigs:
Attire: Summer tan pants white shirt
Arrival: all band members should arrive at least 1/2 hour before the beginning of the event to allow for setup. Any members requiring more time for setup should arrive earlier.
Bring: music, music stands, If it's also a good idea to have a chair in the car. Most venues supply chairs, But every now and then you may need your own chair.

Saturday August 23rd. Clarissa Street reunion

We will do the New Orleans stroll, (parade) August 23, 2025 we will meet Adam Street and Clarissa Street at 10:15 AM and we will stroll for two or three blocks. We will end up at Troop Street and Clarissa. Songs to memorize 1. "New Orleans Stomp" B flat. 2. "When the Saints go marching in." 3. "Sunny Mood for Two." (book one) 4. Bill Bailey.
For those that are not going to be in the parade, we will meet close to the main stage on Troop Street and Clarissa, bring your music stands. We will not be on stage. We will be in front of the stage this year. (?) we're only going to be playing for 1/2 an hour. We have to play the two national anthems. Make sure you bring your music stand. We're wearing white shirts and khaki pants.

"Hello band members, I hope everyone is doing well. Due to the heat, the engagement will have to be moved indoors. Unfortunately, the indoor space can only accommodate five musicians. The room is relatively small, so I would recommend bringing a bass player, guitar player, violinist, alto player, & tenor saxophone (just bring a music stand). Please let me know if this works for everyone. Stay cool! "
